Do research like a real investor. Otherwise you are just a gambler.
If we're going to respond, let's offer some real help. If you can only respond with "do research" you don't have anything to add to the thread.
He asked a simple question, "how do I choose?". The simplicity of the question led me to believe that he was looking for a simple answer, so I gave him a simple answer.
He asked a simple question and you mocked him for it. It's not helpful to say "do research"...it's dismissive.
I could have responded that investing in an ICO is a complex and time consuming process that requires evaluation of the goals, the potential returns, the risks, the plans, the technology, the market, the competition, and the people.
This would have been a great response, why didn't you offer it up?
I could also have gone into some detail about how I might evaluate all of those aspects, but it seemed to me that the OP just wanted a simple answer instead.
You could have gone into some detail, but you didn't and if you call your post "a simple answer" you've just put yourself in the category of "shit spamming" posters that most of us despise here.
