That's completely false.
Most people are only seeing bitcoin cash as a short term speculative tool because they feel like that BCH is a lot cheaper than bitcoin right now, and it's a lot easier for it to get hyped up in a short period of time.
Bitcoin's still the premier cryptocurrency and stay this way. There won't be any "flippenings".
$3500 by June could be possible, if the total crypto cap goes up. But BCH has no long term future as far as I'm concerned.
