I have a strange problem crop up..My rig of 4 x RX580 8gb nitro was consuming a total of 599 watts at the wall.
We had a power cut and when I restarted the rig after the power came on the consumption has jumped to 1600 watts from 599 watts
In Afterburner the consumption per GPU is still around the 85w per GPU ...which was the same before the power cut..and giving 599 watts at wall
What could have caused this sudden jump ? especially when the gpu watts is same (before and after power cut) in afterburner.

your psu capacitors needs eletricity to "restart" its called peak
based on your suggestion it should peak when it restarts...But after that the consumption remains at 1600 watts whereas it was 599 watts before
