No Exchange still now?

"Why no exchange?
There are a number of items that need to be completed in order for a cryptocurrency to get listed on an exchange. Some of them include, building a wallet, building nodes, mining pools, block explorer, API, etc. As you can see this isn't a small list. Some of these are done, and some aren't, and some need to be refined. Doing things well takes time. Especially, when everyone working on the project is a volunteer. I believe in this project, and would like to see it succeed. Seeing it succeed does not mean doing everything as quickly as possible to get listed. Spending time to do things right will only benefit the people holding the currency.
Doing things well should mean that eventually when Iridium does get listed. The cost for the coin should be much higher. As people more trusting in a team that is putting effort behind a project vs people just trying to shill a coin. Asking if you can go get the coin listed on an exchange yourself as fast as possible is really doing a disservice to you, and the project.
If you don't agree. You have a couple of options. We as people always have a choice after all:
#1 Contribute to the project. For example, if the block explorer isn't complete. Learn how to build one, and share it with the project.
#2 Go mine something else, and sell your coins on the cheap to be able to invest in another project you might believe in more. I'm pretty sure if you ask someone to buy for a penny per IRD, you will find a couple buyers really fast."
