I want to ask, how is it possible to launch the main net within the next 2-3 months, When IOTA still has not implemented sharding?, Without sharding, within just a few days of the main launch, i can easily see each broker node bloated with many tera-bytes of data, it will most defintely spiral out of control within just a few weeks, Shouldn't you guys wait until sharding is operational before launching the main net?
Your question was good in Oyster Knowledge. Don't get the wrong idea if somebody didn't answer you. At best wait for Automyr to answer your question, since he is more in-depth about sharding implementation until mainnet, if it's nessecary or not. Keep in mind tho, that the demand on day one of the launch won't be gigantic. Things have to take a while to get mass adopted 
And the result of no sharding at launch of mainnet would just be, that the IOTA network overall have to do more snapshots in a shorter period of time
