I guess it just a manipulation or sabotaging the rate. There aren't fundamental reasons to drive the price down (bad news, low activity, hard fork, dev left the project, etc). Simultaneously DSR has amazing MN stats, look at charts https://masternodes.online - Desire is nearly on the top of the list by amount of MN.
