Is STEX decentralized like Kyber? E.g. no requirement to hold currency on the exchange. And swaps handled by smart contract?
A bit of both. They call themselves a hybrid. Centralized with decentralization where it pays off. What they are most focused on is speed and security. There is a lot of information about this in the whitepaper.
