Digital marketing is a dynamic landscape and there are many categories. I would first start doing searches such as "Beginners Digital Marketing", "What is Digital Marketing?" to attain a minimum level of understanding. There are so many categories/facets to digital marketing that I would look to see what category interests you the most in this subject. For example, do you prefer bloging, vlogging, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), forum posting, Social Media (maybe a focused platform? Such as Facebook), and so much more. With that said, when I first started, I just read as much as I could and hyper-focused.

Also, if you have a product and your specialty isn't Digital Marketing then I would suggest hiring a professional first or taking some basic online courses. There are a lot of free ones out there. Just google I would suggest googling MOZ Digital Marketing and follow up on some the free courses they have.
