Setting my next sell target for $12k. Don't see the volume/pressure yet to move coins to an exchange, but hoping that changes in the next 72 hours.

Also, after all is said and done with my testing of a lightning network node, after these last few outstanding channels are closed, and funds returned to my Bitcoin wallet, I'm guessing I've lost about 45% of the Bitcorns I used to test on Mainnet with, due to fees with opening/closing channels. (Less than 0.2 BTC total loss)

Going to wait until c-lightning hits v0.6 before resuming testing.

I've learned a lot about how to operate a node, and get a good sense of the game theory for funding channels, but my gut is telling me we're at least six months away from Lightning starting to become somewhat stable.

It's really neat tech, but it's essentially alpha-state software right now.


Nope. We may yet dip into the $9k's, but I'm buying drinks for the thread if we see $8k's again this year.
