You say "work," whereas others would say "stress your hardware well beyond rated capacities."

Your S9/APW3++/110v trifecta will certainly lead to early hardware failure.

Edit/Addendum: That's one of the reasons to prefer the "original" APW3 power supplies - without the "++" and lower in profile.  They won't spin up an S7/S9 on 110v by design.
