Question : I'm all for Cryptonote forks, love the algo and the principle behind these types of currencies however the premined amount for BitNote is huge (~8.3%). Can you address this and why this isn't a get rich quick scheme for the devs?

Answer : Ah yes. This is understandable. We premined this amount because, we intend to launch on several exchanges such as, TradeSatoshi, BTC-Alpha, TradeOgre and many more... The listing fees for most of these well known trading websites can vary, from 1.5 Bitcoin up to 15 Bitcoin. This can get very expensive to keep up with, we are also shifting a percentage of the funds towards things like, seed nodes, website domains, vps hosting etc... to run Bitnote and efficiently. To sum things up, it’s very expensive to run a successful Cryptocurrency these days... And some sort of premine will benefit the coin in the end. With that being said, there will also be bounty rewards for different tasks completed by members of the community.
