My own trust list became much more reliable with just two simple entries:


Being new here, I’ve as yet had only limited time to evaluate whom I’d trust to the degree of bringing into my level 0.  I am ultra-conservative about trust, as a matter of principle; and level 0 requires not only great honesty, but also great wisdom.

gmaxwell is an obvious choice:  Besides being a well-known figure, he is up to his elbows daily in arcane, complex, mission-critical code which is the foundation for a currency worth hundreds of billions of dollars.  If you run a node—heck, if you use Bitcoin, then you already express great confidence in gmaxwell’s sound judgment as well as his basic integrity.

Over time, I’ll probably add most or all of your suggested additions.  I should definitely add more exclusions, right now.

I may later reply to some others.  Maybe.  Quickseller has here already achieved the objectives of destroying his own credibility for the ten thousandth time, making of himself a laughingstock, demonstrating behaviour which suggested a hot new meme, performing for me the liminal rite of making me stand accused by a lunatic that I must be Lauda in disguise, and helping the hungry by inducing them eat popcorn so they don’t die of starvation.  Anything more might be overkill; perhaps we should call /thread.
