Looking at current state of the game, you were pretty right

Some info I got:
- developer is working bringing new features everyday(!) so far and very active on discord channel
- there is process of "discovering" new locations - kind of mining to create new locations
- there should be limited supply (around 1million of locations)

So it's like cryptokitties without that much inflation.
