I cringe to think what the price is going to be after 1st March when development is not ready.
Did anyone else check the
https://dev.gulden.com/ site today? The estimated completion date of SegSig has been removed which initially stated February 2018 (at least that is what it stated for the past 1.5 months or so), looks like they remove target dates as a whole which might not be a bad thing, bummer that they do not announce this to the community more clearly.
Rijk commented on Slack as follows:
I do understand Everyone wants the update to be there, so do we. I have removed the indication because people see it as deadlines. They are not there. It is ready when it is ready, as simoel as that. We are building this for the first time, it is extremely complex and must be perfect. We are not going to take risks with wallets. That seems logical to me. In addition, such an update is also getting bigger, we come across things that we can do much better and more efficient. After this update we will approach the communication completely differently. E. g. no more prior announcements about projects, but an explanation of what we are doing at that moment and an announcement if something is ready. However, we will no longer announce what that is.
Basically, they will not be ready in feb, otherwise why remove the deadline. Good thing is they will change the way they communicate. So just not posting deadlines anymore but talk us through project on a regular basis. So we can see progress.
