You can incentivise people by giving them a one time bonus for using the the platform. Online casinos do it all the time. However, I think what they meant is indeed the crowdfunding part.

Maybe what was meant is that you indeed get some discounts and bonuses when paying with FLIX tokens? Otherwise, they could come up with something. For example, if you decide to fund a movie, you get one week for free, something like this.

I thought I saw a part in the discussion here that they are not meant to be funders for movies/series... but I could be wrong on that.
On the other hand, if people pay to view movies, there must be a part of those earnings going to the moviemakers, no?
