It worries me that this is the scale and length that people are willing to go to in order to just simply spam any forum and abuse it like this. Some might have assumed that this was the case already, but after reading something like this :
They all belong to a farmer who has been farming hundreds if not thousands of accounts using bots in the Chinese section for years. There's probably some I've missed if anyone want to check but don't bother tagging them because they're all banned.
It gives me a sour feeling knowing that it probably isn't even a dent or a significant amount of abusers. Good work for sure, but it's unfortunate that it's going to take a
lot more work like this before any real change occurs.
At least the merit system makes this that much easier to track and resolve; was this one of the intended consequences of the merit system to begin with?
