Your chainstate is corrupt; that block is in fact valid. File corruption in conjunction with IO errors suggests strongly that your hard drive is not quite as healthy as you believe. After copying the surviving data to a known-good drive, run with -reindex-chainstate to repair the database (this will take some time, so be patient).
