When deciding in which coin to invest you can either blindly follow suggestions by others or make your own informed descision based on some criteria:
- What problem does the project attempt to solve?
- Is it a solution looking for a problem?
- Is there active development behind the project? (check Github activity)
- Has the team produced anything but a whitepaper?
- Are there established competitors which are much further into delivering a working product?
- Cross reference developers against previous scam projects
- Current market capitalization of the coin
Pretty good list and information here mate. I agree and having to see this list I think that Bitcoin and Ethereum fit the bill. They are both active coins that experience market movements either on the positive or negative. Both are reliable and enduring given that they have reached the upper tiers of most coins across the market. They have established themselves as really good assets that are held and believed by most of the people in the cryptocurrrency market today. There is always a lot of buzz surrounding them, some negative, but most of them being positive news. I think that as the cryptocurrency market grows and grows, it would heavily hinged on some big name coins to carry it to the future.
