I don't think it would stabilized the economy of some third rate country that had slow economical growth especially on Asia and Africa were their primary sources of income are agricultural products. Whose investor wants to pay 1000 usd per employee?
That is actually a good point on determining a big pros on having a single currency in terms of transaction. Not all countries are dependent on the single monetary system where some developing countries also established trading crops and exchanges of goods for their services. It is not also a good thing to established a single currency because most of countries are independently mind set where their goal is to somehow build own base currency.
