This is so accurate, I think there should be off-topic in filipino local board because even Meta Section-like thread are getting deleted there. So that we can talk about what's happening in the forum lately.
Someone suggested it before on the sticky thread and rickbig didn't agree with it (
his response). I also won't agree with it because that would just encourage people to continue spamming. I've seen off topic threads before in our board and most of them weren't necessary. Starting a thread that is off topic is okay if it's something that should be talked about (like the merit system for example) just make sure to use the search button to avoid multiple threads.
