What was the main reason for forking from Karbo? Are there any benefits compared to it?
Because Karbo is a fantastic project. Karbo and Arto has the same codebase but it has different characteristic. And of course the benefits is because of differences in these characteristics eg. Initial coin supply 10m -> 28m, Inflation 1.3% -> 2.5%, tail emission reward 1 -> 2 per block etc. Most of the changes were to be more profitable for miner, because as PoW coin the backbone is the miners.
