I think its would be best to use desktop wallet. It is safest for you. The exchange owns the addresses you use there to store your coins, if anything will happen...you can lose your address and coins.
I trust in coinomi that I use for 1 year, they have always respected their commitments and I never lost a single coin...
If exchanges will not distribute the CLO to their users they will keep for them and not distribute it...
But patience we will have their answer this week I think
