But messing around with the trust settings is a pain and if I'm not mistaking something QS seems to have checked the trust dump (which I'm assuming is a data dump which would require you to actually take some effort to analyse and clearly beyond what the average joe would bother with)
I think in theory you could set a large trust depth number on your settings page and see the lower levels of trust links. But in reality nobody's gonna do that for any practical purpose, so yes, it would be quite useless to use sockpuppets this way.
