I'm aware, and I know that's a pretty popular scam; I pay for mine with cash however. I don't have a bank account, so it's kind of harder for me to obtain bitcoin, so I simply pay for giftcards with cash at stores then exchange them with someone on bitmit for a little bit of coin. If it helps, I'm building up a really nice rep on that bitmit account (as you can see) and I've also traded with members of this forum before who I'm sure wouldn't mind vouching for me.
