I don't believe that you are actually excited about the merit system or you would not be asking for an exemption from it. You would be looking at it as an opportunity, instead of something that you want to get around.

I'd also like to add that it seems like you're only suggesting this because you feel like you deserve your Full Member rank up. You would've received a rank up if the merit system was not put in place, is that right? I just took a peek through your post history and I don't believe you have made the kinds of contributions that would constitute a rank up. You're being selfish, because you don't want the rules to apply to you. You do not have a right to rank up and you do not need warning about changes being made to the forum.
