Obviously if he had any ability to predict stock prices from charts at all, he could have put in a 0.0065 sell order on ActM and a buy at 0.0038 and doubled his stake without even being at his computer.

Yeah, but you have to keep in mind "Buy on the rumor, sell on the news". If everyone guys in waiting for them to hash, then who's going to be left to boost the price once they do?
