Please update to the new wallet everyone, and thank you so far for the community and miner support for Kreds. Many of you will find some very good changes coming for Kreds in the source code. We must include all users and currency technology to be strong for when mainstream users are aware of Kreds. This is a step towards that strength.

Is this version of wallet a mandatory update? Can I still use the older version of Kreds wallet? Are there probability of chainsplits if part of users won't upgrade their wallet to the newest version?

our team advises the updating since it corrects general issues and prepares it for zKREDS. There was no fork in the blockchain.

I still have to do this. Just got a new laptop to house some wallets only. I need to update to the new KREDS wallet. I've been sending coins using the old one, without issue......but I don't want to risk it.
