Great..so the frigging coupons I have from last fall are likely ONLY good till June if lucky July 2018...even this miner perk seems also to be 'illusion city' in reality

I doubt I will find anything of any bitmain flavor that will make ROI sense by that point in time......as usual even lame coupons ..turn

edit: (yeah, I"m conflicted...with 90% of miners to the public being Bitmain...I need equipment for tax purposes badly this year, but they are evil and ROI is dubious

Why is everyone getting coupons from Bitmain?

Who knows, I just logged in and found 2 x $100 coupons, they didn't even send me an email to let me know.

my thoughts are they mined (at least mostly L3+'s from what I can tell) (again all this is IMHO) ...anyway they mined the heck out of stuff from Jan till March/April...

hell...probably from Dec thru March/April....then all the $$$ collected for these units to clear out...they dump april/may in a mass dump...when 3 months in the consumers

can get the mainly L3+ ASIC miners........then they use the revenue from the say Dec to March/April dump of BCH $$$ to them to help tide them over..for the next 2-3 months as they

ramp up the plant for NEW better ASIC equipment (outside of China asap).. for less power and maybe over 1TB units ..there are rumors about...they THEN use those units to fill the data

halls OUTSIDE of China ...cutting most if not all strings...or at least for newer miners they now have.....old equipment dumped....mainly in the March/April 'splash' to consumers.....and again

as per usual...they mine the new equipment over the summer ...in their NEW outside of China data halls and announce consumer version

say around Sept/Oct (pre-orders of course 3 months again ...like they did for Dec thru March)...and it is win/win/win again for bitmain (bitmain: we do evil well!) (tm:bitmain)

rinse/wash/repeat

(also under my above 'hopefully' fantasy....my coupons ($200 bucks) would expire before being able to be used on new asic equip..should I choose to play

this game again with bitmain of 'catch the falling knife on ROI' game...in the fall ...at god knows what difficulty from the above march/april and new equip data halls churning thru summer

in the fall of 2018.....slim pikins likely..

all above is unlikely....but bitmain has done trickier things then my above 'hopeful' fiction...just saying....its how they roll!

So again, about $300 buck LTC and my stuff I run now (scrypt-pow wise) may last into the summer (knc titans, L3's and perhaps past that L3+'s) with what I expect for an

equipment dump by bitmain to consumers march/april..data hall scheme above..etc...so again IMHO, always behind the bitmain 8 ball on ROI and when to get equipment...

So timing being everything, and bitmain with 90% of asic equipment of 'many flavors' ....(plus the damn crummy web site and 3am purchasing of 10 min window)....things

might be 'damn slim' for NON-dubious asic scrypt-pow equipment....then again I suppose, as long as I am wishing I can HOPE for $400 LTC and run what I have into fall

but that too is probably 'unicorn dreams' (too many damn unicorns...price pump unicorns...equip roi unicorns.....difficulty stomping unicorns.....damn hard to get the

herd to all run the way I want...with bitmain controlling all them unicorns)
