And when they pay dividends people will come on and say, "No!!! They didn't mine that BTC! They just went and bought it and are paying dividends. They're scamming you!"
Bought it? They could use the profits they have made trading those unlocked shares to pay dividends. Bitcoin is no stranger to Ponzi schemes, either.
