Yes, to use the word "Ethereum" without in fact there being any relation with Ethereum, for a quite common premined Bitcoin core wallet is not exactly what I would call an overhelmingly seducing project.

Sometimes, the developer deliberately gives it a special name to attract the attention of the community
THAT is exactly the problem, IF you have to give it such an absurd name just to attract the attention. Coins should attract attention for their intrinsec features and qualities. If you get into a coin just for its name... o dear!
The name of the coin is the same as the name of a person
It does not determine a person's or a coin's future
