Well it´s all about marketing. just say you airdrop something and you will gain hundreds of followers per hour.
It doesn't make sense If these "hundreds of followers" can't contribute anything to the progress of the community. In fact those followers are utterly useless. The team should concentrate more on integrating and getting Dimcoins listed on more exchanges, attend blockchain events to connect with other crypto enthusiasts amd introduce the ecosystem to them. For partnership with other projects etc. Not marketing this is a loss to everyone that is part of the community. This is why the price is on a steady decline.
I don't think these followers are completely useless, of course there are many airdrop hunters which will not do anything for the project, but they will create a hype so the project will attract attention of real investors.
