Litecoin is faster, monero is more private, ETH has smart contracts and there are much more altcoin with much more features, even Bitcoin Cash is faster than Bitcoin, but BTC keeps rising much faster.
Don't you think it's just because of the name?
No its not, the reason why bitcoins is always at the top is because, it is the coin that first exist and no one really think that this coins price will increase even more as the time goes by and those new altcoins that are being released are only interested to become popular as well so their coin will grow in the market just like bitcoins.
