Are you reporting the instances of this behavior to the moderators?

When it can be identified that merit farming and other merit abuse is occurring, accounts get banned, but there are far too many posts on bitcointalk for moderators to catch EVERY instance on their own.  They rely on users to use the "Report to Moderator" link to quickly identify misbehavior.
