you are wrong, it is better you buy on the exchange market as cheap as possible.
it is more profitable than you put money on ICO.
i believe more than +90% ICO project has failed to hold ICO price when their token hit on market exchange.
I agree with you on the ratio (90%), but you have to integrate the fact that a loosing ICO is a -50% but a winning ICO is +300%
And, I still believe that if you select your project very carefully, Investing in ICO is a no brainer +EV bet.
Simple math.
