Also I have looked at options, and the solution you have submitted seems to be the best fix. The longer I observe the coin, the more I am convinced that the changes you proposed are the perfect fit. There could be an update in the next couple days.
Cool. It would be really interesting to see how the system works in practice. It is fair to miners, but gives a lower variance in time between blocks.
Don't forget you need to change the
COINFIX1_BLOCK value. It has to be in the future, so 10000 will not work anymore.
