Let's be honest here, this project will take a lot of time advertising and good reviews from users to actually replace those big shots in the market. They do have a good idea, but it'll be really difficult to do so.
From your point of view, I can say that these platform will face a difficult challenge because of those giant companies. Everything can be achievable if the team will seriously focused on the success of the project.
Even if there are big companies out there, if WIKIBITS can offer something unique, something different, from the current ones, surely it can really have a big chance on making an impact on the market.
I think that wikibits just needs some recognision, rest is on people, upto how they react. The idea is surely fascinating so I dont think that the company might slack in the initial stages as compared to other ICOs
What kind of uniqueness this system must have? As for me, whenever I do researches, it is enough for me that the website is well presented, clean, and contains relevant information that I needed. Comparing this to Wikipedia will not do any good. I am just glad that another information repository will be launched where I can find and add another good reference for my future researches.
