I don't like the expression "positive thinking" because it reminds me all usual new age bullshits about "positiveness".
Actually, hope is not a strategy, and the only mind set I like is "realistic thinking".
So, check the facts, make your analysis, decide a strategy and make your move.
And forget positive - or negative - thinking.
