Why my antivirus detects CoinMiner.GH in the Edollar GUI wallet .exe?
I've installed many wallets from different coins, but never had a virus allert from them.
Why a wallet has a miner build in it? It should be just a simple wallet, to keep your coins, not a miner.
How can I be assured that your wallet dosen't mine in the background for you, using my pc?
PLEASE! REMOVE THE MINER FROM GUI WALLET! ASAP!
I guess the GUI wallet uses the cli wallet as a base and cli wallet has miner in it... because using a cli wallet u can mine..... now since the miner is there it detected as a miner.
Now how you can be assured that we are not silently mining with your pc is very simple... while GUI wallet is not synchronizing you will not see a hike in either cpu usage or GPU usage in task manager by "edollar***" process.....but if it does hike even after its synchronized then its a silent miner working in the background and remember while synchronizing you may see a CPU hike because its normal and any technical person familiar with cryptocurrencies can vouch for it.
