If you use powered risers, you don't need to use the MOLEX at all. Then there is no question of "which PS should be attached to which MOLEX" on the MB.
Does that mean either using powered risers and no MOLEX, or passive risers with MOLEX will lead to the same result?(I don't have that board, just curious)
I recently had the motherboard burned. Was connecting all 3 into one supply. My risers are powered thru 6pin separately. If above is true not sure why my moles were burnt
Or I misunderstood something. Any help ?
