Bitmain usually sends out used equipment that they say was "tested". That's where their pool gets most of the hashrate that it
has. If you get free or dirt cheap electricity, it might be worth it, otherwise not at all.
Bitmain is the largest and worst competitor of every person who buys miners from them.
i.e. they have mining, bazillions of S7s and S9s and of course now whatever their next miner is, that they will let everyone buy some time in the future.
They need to get rid of their old garbage - S7s - and use the power for better miners than the S7s
That's what the V9s are - their way of making MORE profit out of the old S7s they've been mining with.
