I think Litecoin is hardly able to reach $ 1000 because there are so many better projects now, investors will begin to select projects more carefully than before. The market will begin to phase out bad projects. ETH is still the best choice and there are ICO projects like UTK, Socifi, Forty Seven Bank, etc ...
Exactly. The selling point for LiteCoins is as a quicker and cheaper alternative to Bitcoin. However now, even cheaper and much faster transaction platforms are emerging.The most notable is Nano which has a theoretical transaction speed of "infinity" (i.e. limited by the internet speed) and zero fees.
Another is Stellar, which not only offers XLM as a currency, but the network also functions and is being adopted (in third world/developing countries) as a bank and for international transfers, + it supports dDapps (ICOs etc), and is gonna have its very own decentralized crypto-exchange too!!!
