If you have any old drive at your disposal don't buy SSD, just use whatever you have.
Invest in SSD only if you don't have anything else to use.
Yeah and spend 2 hours reinstalling drivers. Those old HDDs are unusable, you'd better just buy a cheap flash drive and put any linux mining build on it.
