To eliminate fake news there should be punishment for the company who starts the fake news.In that case it will eliminate or lessen fake news.
And who is going to punish them? The Police?
They can always blame it on their lack of knowledge, undisclosed sources, things like that. Most of those news outlets have disclaimers that say the information may be inaccurate and that sometimes they come from anonymous tips and other undisclosed sources. We should learn not to trust them and not to act on these news without confirming them first.
