Greetings to the community from the GRAM Core team!

We have recently updated the GRAM Core Wallet for Windows, Linux and macOS. Latest stable version (0.15.1) brings HD-wallets and SegWit support which was activated at block #2160 within the upgraded GRAM blockchain. The upgraded chain got premine disabled so you can start mining GRAM Coin with low difficulty right now. Apps for iOS and Android are on the way to the markets. Web-based GRAM Coin Wallet is rolling out soon. We are planing to setup mailing lists for developers and a Slack. GitHub setup is currently in progress. Any kind of participation is always welcome. Feel free to ask any questions and share your ideas on the GRAM Project.

Benoit.
If the upgraded wallet is on block #6000, why is the 0.9 GramCore on block #548792
Basically this is a new coin?
Hello. As you might know all versions of Bitcoin Core prior to 0.11.1 are labeled as insecure:
https://bitcoincore.org/bin/insecure/README.txt
Moreover, GRAM Core did not have 0.9 version ever. As far as I know there was a so-called GRAM Rebirth project by CryptoCoderz based on the original GRAM source code, but as described by the author this was just a study-case and also got premine enabled so far:
https://github.com/GramCoin/gramcoin/blob/8ed0cf3e40fe45c5725af1f015f56368ddf8fc55/src/main.cpp#L1263
Original code got 2000000 coins mined as per block #1 that is why we are on the upgraded non-premined chain now:

GramCoin latest release was version 0.9.0.1

But let's be honest, a new blockchain...is a new coin!

That was just a developer sandbox, not a release:

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Gram is our official internal use testing Blockchain. The original dev abandoned the coin and the entire community. This caused the community to die as well, leading to not even a single node for an extended period of time. Nobody even had a functional wallet by the time CryptoCoderz got involved. We were forced to re-block the entire algorithm and start it from scratch. Currently we are using this Blockchain to test SHA-256 functionalities and other future projects. Due to the coin being our private test chain there is currently no Bitcointalk thread, nor a wallet.
