Peer to Peer Connectivity

Many blockchains out there have different value propositions; ours is connectivity. We are not building some complex, intricate, turing complete “do-all” platform, we are building a network by which internet becomes cheaper for users around the world. Ideally it will be a network that will allow you to pay your own phone or ISP bill by simply keeping your machine on.

In our model we have three roles for nodes: providers, consumers and gateways. The provider nodes kick out bandwidth from BandZ internal traffic to the outer world internet. The consumer nodes accept application traffic (socks5, iptables, vpn, etc) and send it to providers. The gateway nodes provide services like STUN, TURN and GeoIP resolution, receiving a tip for their services. All participants can be any combination of nodes at any given time.

Data Safety at its Peak

While our main focus is connectivity and microtransactions, we understand that privacy is a basic human right. Our end-to-end encryption is (to us) a mandatory addition, and our protocol free framing makes traffic appear metadata-free as it travels through switches and routers.

Our model makes your traffic yours. In the future BandZ aims to expand out into creating smart contract based networks via a combination of satellites, wifi towers and mesh mobile wifi access points; your octets will flow unencumbered.

BandZ is about the commoditization of bandwidth. This concept naturally leads to a marketplace, which on the internet, will catalyze the advent of bandwidth exchange rates, varying by geolocation and type (data center, residential, 4G/LTE).
