Maybe that's what they're counting on. Squeeze just so much as to make most people think "oh well, this loss is easier to swallow than going to the courts".
First 30% loss at least, now overpriced boards...
Yes but i find that a very very bad decision from a business point of view. He will have less new clients and old clients will buy the minimum that they can so they will sell just a few boards instead of selling in bigger numbers.
Looks like greed took over. Besides, burnin hasn't said a thing about these new developments even though he's been reading the forum.
I don't think that we should be too hard on burnin for this. If you use a distributor then they will want to take their cut, which may be the problem here.
There is "reasonable cut", and then there is this. 200 euros per board? ROFL.
where is the proof (demonstrated ) they mention on the site and we need to be convinced more as to how much hashing can be squeazed out of the bitburner fury boards, i mean how likely is 80ghs really? if it can be pulled off that would make it bearable.
Even with 80 Ghash/s ROI is iffy. At 64 it starts to look zero sum at best. At 40, it's always a loss. Better count on the pessimistic side...
Besides, there's no mention of overclocking versus warranty. Do we even _get_ a warranty?
Besides 2: the heatsink costs 10 euros extra per board...
