I just look at the ocean and see how boats and ships fade into the horizon. the bottom starts to disappear into nothingness. Beware though, if the weather is just a bit less than clear, you will not be able to do this experiment. 
I already showed him that but he refused to accept it, you will never convince these people of anything.
