The info in the app says: "Your mobile phone doesn't actually mine like a desktop miner would, instead we benchmark your device and allocate it with a hashrate that it would be able to acheive if it were actually mining. You will then be allocated the amount of ETN you would receive if you actually mined a block."

The question why it is not actually mining is answered: "Mobile phones are not built to withstand or cope with the complex calculations required to perform actual crypto mining, your phone would overheat very quickly and potentially damage hardware. So instead we give you a mining experience which has all the rewards of actual mining with none of the complexities of having to setup mining software, a mining rig, ventilation etc."

Sounds nice but i don't get why they would do that. They don't use your phones calculating power for anything, they are really just simulating it.

I downloaded the app about an hour ago and started "mining". So far i got 0 ETN... I have a Moto G4+ which "runs" at 12 H/s. So far it doesn't get hot or stresses the battery. I will let it run overnight and see how much it makes, but I don't think that it is more than a fun gimmick.
