Ok, perhaps 'promise' was the wrong word because you're right, they didn't say "we promise to ____". That said, they publicly announced they were hashing. Despite 100+ pages of people asking for proof of that, they need to wait till Wednesday to provide that evidence. There isn't a single reason as to why that ought to be the case aside from needing to buy time.

They haven't posted any pictures or proof of anything functional. Period.
