Ethereum is a trusted coin and is much stable compared to bitcoin. But Ethereum is just starting to be used by the masses unlike bitcoin whose years of history have established the trust and support from its users. Ethereum is just beginning to move like bitcoin and is starting to create exchanges that allow holder to exchange Ethereum to their local currency. Soon or probably somewhere in the future we can see how well Ethereum moves and if it can really replace Bitcoin.
